Born in Metalian year 1858, on 45 Tyrest, Tempest was found abandoned by a member of the underground, a Rajah named Asoese. Herself an Esperborn of the Wind, she was raised amidst work from the underground, and even at a young age was used as a courier by her adoptive stepfather. The only clue to her birth lay with the partial notes and lyrics of a song found with her. Developing an interest in music and singing because of this, Tempest took up training as a bard, using both her lyre and her voice as her focus. With an unspoken allegiance to the College of Whispers, she furthered her skills in manipulation, deception, and dealing damage of the mind.
